NON-STOP DOGWEAR GLACIER WOOL JACKET 2.0 REVIEW

When we moved to Colorado, I knew our dogs would need some warmer layers. Xena’s Malinois coat keeps her fairly warm in most conditions, but poor Samson starts shivering as soon as the temperatures drop below freezing. Our friend and favorite vet, Alyssa (@thedoggydoc), suggested we try out Non-stop Dogwear’s coats and we settled on the Glacier Wool Jacket 2.0.

One thing you’ll learn about me is that I treat my dogs better than I treat myself. These jackets are NICE. They are wind proof, water proof, and insulating. I chose the wool option for its breathability, comfort, and temperature regulating properties. We LOVE wool around here and the dogs do too!

What really stands out to me about these jackets is the thoughtful details. From the drainage holes to cinch points, waist adjustment to leg straps - Non-stop Dogwear designed these jackets with active dogs in mind.

So far, the dogs have loved their jackets . They seem very comfortable hiking in them. Their gait is uninhibited, they haven’t experienced any chafing, and most importantly the jackets have kept them very warm! I don’t plan on washing them often, but the dogs went for an unexpected (40F!) swim on a recent hike so I tested out their washability. I used the hand wash cycle and hung them to dry. They came out feeling (and smelling) brand new.

I purchased these jacket a little late in the season to really put them through the wringer. This summer, though, the dogs will use them in place of sleeping bags or blankets while camping. I’ll keep you all updated on how they hold up!

Do your dogs ever wear warm layers? Drop a comment below with your go-to jacket!

This post is not sponsored, nor am I affiliated with Non-stop Dogwear, though I am part of their Dog Professional program and purchased these jackets at a discounted rate.
